The Brown Derby – the long gone original Derby on Wilshire Boulevard was recreated on the grounds of the Ambassador Hotel at 3400 Wilshire Boulevard, now also demolished.

The Bride of the Monster premiere - 1653 Cravens Avenue, Torrance, California. This was called the Stadium Theatre from 1949 to 1968, then it became the Pussycat until its closing in 1991. It stood unused, except by occasional film crews, and was torn down in 2002.
